ABOUT RUSHAGA GORILLA NEIGHBORS

Murchison Falls

Welcome to **Rushaga Gorilla Neighbors**, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a positive impact in the Rushaga region of Uganda. Our mission is to provide essential support and services to both the local community and wildlife through education, conservation efforts, and promoting sustainable tourism.

At **Rushaga Gorilla Neighbors**, we focus on a diverse range of activities aimed at preserving the environment, supporting vulnerable children and orphans, and fostering community development. Our main programs include the Batwa and Bakiga Experiences, which celebrate the rich traditions and cultures of the local people, as well as wildlife conservation efforts in collaboration with nearby protected areas.

We believe in the importance of balancing community development with nature conservation. Our activities are designed to raise awareness about wildlife protection while simultaneously providing opportunities for sustainable livelihoods for local communities. Whether you're looking to learn about the traditions of the Batwa people, take part in a guided forest walk, or enjoy a unique cultural experience, **Rushaga Gorilla Neighbors** offers something for everyone.
